You start in Crono's home. Go downstairs and your mom will inform you that your friend Lucca (or whatever it was you decided to name her) has completed her newest invention and was displaying it at the fair. Before you leave the house, however, talk to your mother again to recieve your "allowance" (200gp). Go to the mayor's house and talk to everybody there to get an idea of how to play. Don't forget to open all of the chests--- the one upstairs holds gold! Having armed yourself with the knowlege of the game, head to the southern continent and enter the Porre Shop. Buy whatever defense items you can afford. However, don't purchase the sword--- you will soon get a weapon much more powerful. Now trot back to the northern continent and enter the Millenium Fair. There is a whole lot to be done here, and I will try to be as specific as possible. Go directly north two screens until you see a blond girl in a white outfit running around. Bump into her (you have to run) and the two of you will go flying. This is Marle. She will lose her pennant and (of course) rely on you to find it for her. Be sure that you talk to her before you take her lost necklace, or you will be sure to regret it later. So, give Marle the recovered pennant and she will ask if she can accompany you. Say yes (or no--- it doesn't matter!). Now leave the fair and head to Guardia Forest. Fight everything you can find (especially Hetakes, the mushroom-like guys) and once no monsters are left, leave the forest and repeat the process. Do this (I know battling can get boring, but it's necessary) until your characters are on (at least) level 5. Go to the south-east part of the forest and look around until you notice a sparkling dot. Grab that sucker. These are the super-cool power tabs. Give it to Crono to perminantly up his attack power. Go back to the fair and earn silver points. There are many different ways, so pick your favorite: fight Gato, the metal robot, and get 15 points and some exp if you win. Or, for all of you budding gamblers, bet on the races (talk to the guy standing next to the 4 runners in the blue tent). If your contestant wins, talk to the guy again to recieve 20 points. The hammer challenge in the south-west corner of the first screen is easy to win but supplies you with only 1 point. And, finally, the soda guzzling contest. It is almost impossible to win without a turbo controller, but if you pull it off, you win 5 points. Trade the points for gold (10 points for 50 gold) and when you have enough, buy a Lode sword from Melchior (it costs 4,000gp). The sword will help a lot, especially since you're not really supposed to buy it until later. Here are some other "do's" and "don'ts" when at the fair: Don't ask Marle to sell her pendant, or it will really hurt you later on. Do talk to the orange cat in the lower left-hand corner. Have the orange cat in the southeast in order for it to follow you to the little girl located in the northeast. Don't take the pink package near the old man (his lunch) in the south-west corner of the second screen or you will regret. And when you go to see Lucca's invention in the far northern end of the fair, Marle will ask you to wait while she buys candy. Do wait until she's ready (i.e. don't move) and it will be a feather in your cap later on. You will want to head to the Tent of Horrors in the north-east corner of the first screen and pay 40 silver points. Do whatever the clone of you does (this may take several tries, so save before entering) and in the end you will be rewarded with the Clone (it is in your house). Believe it or not, this clone will save Crono's life later on in the game. If you bet 80 points and win (it's hard without a turbo controller) you get a second cat (also at your home. If you keep getting "cat food" (play the 80 bet over and over again) your cat will have kittens. When you are ready, go to north to Lucca's newest inventionn the telepod. When Taban finishes his hartwarming speach (joke), talk to Lucca and hop onto the left of the two telepods to be transported to the right one. After you adventure, talk to Marle (or do it again--- it's fun!). She will disappear do to a disturbance created by her pennant. Grab the necklace and reenter the left telepod. Don't ever go into the right telepod or you will be forced to battle Lavos (will we learn more about him later). That only works in a plus-game, so first-timers won't have to worry.

You'll find yourself in a canyon. Go to the upper left and you will be attacked by imps. They are easy and can't do more than 10 points of damage each. Kill them and go though the upper left corner. Continue moving, fight whatever enemies and exit. Go to each building and talk to everyone. Now go through Guardia forest. Tip: when you see bushes rustling press "A" in front of them and be attacked or get a shelter. At the lower right part of the forest you will see two sparkling objects. Don't go for the lower one. It will cause two roly riders to appear. Anyway, go north and go to Guardia Castle. You will be stopped by soldiers but Queen Leene will stop them from doing anything. Go talk to everyone. Don't open any chests in the castle. You can get better stuff in 1000 AD. Now head for the Queen's room which is to the right of the thrones. Talk to the Queen to discover she is really Marle. She will disappear. Head downstairs and meet Lucca. She will tell you that Marle is actually Princess Nadia in 1000 AD but history has changed. Now you must rescue the real Queen to get Marle back. Go to the Truce store and upgrade whatever you need to. You will need 2 shelters, about 20 tonics and maybe a revive or two. Build up Lucca until she learns flame toss. Go to the cathedral and talk to the nun near the organ. You will then see a sparkling object. Pick it up and you'll be attacked by the nuns, who are really naga-ettes. Use the fire whirl combo to kill them easily. When you do, a hidden naga-ette will appear and strike Lucca. Frog will come to the rescue. Join him and leave. Go to Guardia forest and build up Frog until he gets slurp cut and learn the X-Strike combo. Play the organ to open up a secret door. Go to the right and go north. open the door and open the chests. Equip whatever upgrades you get. Go to the drawer with the egg on it and press "A". You will get the secret naga-ette bromide. You will be attacked. The bromide will not appear on your inventory list, but don't worry, you have it. Above is a door surrounded by spikes. Use the skull on the wall to lower them. Go inside. The bucket on the left contains a tab. Take it. Go to the right into the monsters' dining hall. The upper room contains three monsters. Try to leave and you will be attacked. Go to the right to find a door. Don't talk to the monsters. Go up and open the chests. Leave and go to the center door. There is a save spot. Save and use a shelter if you need to. Go to the right and fall down the stairs. Go up and push the skull. Go around and back to the save spot. Go to the door above and you'll be attacked. Destroy them and play the organ. Now go around and you'll find a new door. Run through the enemies and to the save spot. If you need to fight, fight. Use a shelter and save. Now go through the door to fight Yakra. Then, open the chests to find an item and the real chancellor. At Guardia Castle, Frog will leave. Go to the queen's room to get back Marle. Go to the canyon where the gate was. Lucca will open it with the gate key and you will return to your own time.

Take Marle home to the castle. You will be arrested for kidnapping the princess. Now the trial will start. Depending on what you did in the fair you will be pronounced guilty or innocent. Either way you will be sent to jail and setup to be executed. When in the prison cell, drink from the cup and take the pack. Don't bother the guards. And if you do, don't hit the guard back. If you do, you'll have to fight every guard in the prison. So, if you need exp, do it. If not, wait for execution. Lucca will burst in and knock the guards out. Outside, release the man. He is Fritz, the Truce merchant's son. He will give you stuff later. Look at the unconscious guards to get mid tonics. When you see the supervisor on the floor, look at him for 5 mid tonics. Read the top secret document on the floor. Now go out. *NOTE* In this prison are many other useful items including a second Lode Sword and large amounts of money. If you wish, you may take this time before crossing the bridge to search the prison. Once you cross the bridge, you will fight the Dragon Tank. Beat it and run upstairs until lots of guards are chasing you. Marle will join you, and then all of the guards will start running after you. You will run into the woods. Run to the east to discover a gate. Open it jump in. Where will it take you? Who knows...

You find yourself in the Bangor dome with a sealed door and the gate. Don't bother going through the gate, as the woods are blocked off. Go south to the Trann dome and buy whatever you need (the weapons are really good here) and talk to the people. Use the enertron to heal, and go north to Lab 16. Caution: if you stay outside too long, you'll take damage due to the pollution in the air. Pass through the lab and open any chests you find. They will contain weapons and useful items. Fight everything but the rats, for they will steal tonics from you. The "shadows" you will fight can only be hurt by magic, so use fire whirl to kill all of them at once. Through the lab, you'll see Arris dome. Enter and talk to the people to find out that they are waiting for food to be delivered from the basement. Use the enertron and save. Go down to the basement (in the southern end of the living platform). Ignore the computers--- you can't use them yet. Head north across the bars until you see a "frozen rat. Look at him for some info. Keep moving north until you enter a room with sirens blaring. Here you will fight the Guardian and the two Bits. Then head north to the food compartment. Yuck! You'll find a dead man clutching some seeds. Take them and look at the guy to read about the rat. Go back south to the room with the red bars and follow Marle's instuctions for catching the rat. It may take you several tries. Once caught, the rat will tell you the secret code of the info center. Go to the south and look at the eastern console. Type in the password. Go through the door that appears and procede through the maze. Find the central computer. Lucca will go to work and you will learn that the time gate is in the Proto Dome. Marle will press another button and you will watch in horror as Lavos comes from the Core and destroys the world. There you decide to change time to prevent the Day of Lavos (we all knew this kind of thing was coming!). Go back and climb up the ladder and give the seeds to Doan. He will give you the Jet Bike key. Go to Lab 32 to the east. In Lab 32, you meet Johnny ("the man"), a human-like robot. Race him. It doesn't matter if he's winning in the beginning, but when the very top meter reads about 20, you must turbo boost in front of him to win. When you win, go back into the race course on foot and get the Race Log. With it, you'll earn items if you have high scores. I have never been able to get high scores, but this is what a different webpage said: "When the robot asks which race mode you wish, choose "without turbo boost - L and R change view". Then, when you start the race, press R until you see the racers from the back. Now, you must race and hit Johnny from the front again and again. We have been able to go all the way "on his head", getting 2371 pts. You can get a PowerTab (once) if you have more than 1500 pts, and (Mid-)Ethers if you have more than 1300, 2000 or 2300 pts." Anyway, when your done racing, go southeast into the Proto Dome. There is an enertron inside if you need it, but you must fight some monsters. Keep going north to find a robot. This is Robo, who is, in my opinion, the coolest character due to his brute strenth. Lucca will repair him and he will join you. Since the door to the gate is "unpowered", a party of three must go to the factory to power the door and one person must stay to keep it open. I suggest taking Marle. The Aura Whirl combo will come in handy. Leave and go north to the Factory and have Robo deactivate the laser. An acid will fall and you'll have to fight it. Be careful---it has about 10 hit points but an unbelievable high defense power. Go to the eastern elevator and enter the conveyor belt and touch a robot. The crane will pick you up and put you on another conveyor belt. You must fight through three rooms of debuggers and Proto 3's (this can be a bit tough). When you finish, the conveyor belt drops you off. Go south and fight the Bugs. Remeber, there may be other stuff here that I haven't mentioned... Go to the computer room to the east to learn the crane control codes. Go to the left to the crane controls and press "B" "B" to remove one barrel, and "X" "A" to remove the other. Go to the room you couldn't access before because of the barrels and use the computer. It will tell you the power activation code. Go back up a floor and take the western elevator to the lab. You'll fight alkalines and acids. Destroy the monster that has only one of its kind since they can do a powerful combo attack. Use the computer to open the hatch. Continue until you reach another computer. Access it, fight the monsters, and go down. Activate the power by pressing "X" "A" "B" "Y" at the last computer. Go north and pull the switch to power up. Then run out since the security will go haywire. Run to the exit. You will be stopped by the R-series, Robo's old friends. They will scrap him for being a defect and come after you. Kick their butts for laying even one metal hand on Robo (I like him!). Then, you will take Robo to Lucca to be fixed. Robo will perminantly join you. Go through the the door and into the Gate, which will malfunction and send you to the End of Time.

You end up in a room with three pillars of light. Go south to the wooden gate and talk to the old man. You are at the End of Time, where lost time travelers end up. Walk around until the old dude says "Hey." Always talk to the old man when he says that, for it means he has new info. Now he will tell you to go behind him. The door will suddenly become unlocked and you will see a furry creature. This is Spekkio, the coolest little guy in the game. Answer his question (it doesn't matter what you say) and follow his instructions in order to learn magic. Fight him. He is tough, but gives tabs when you beat him. Leave. The old man will say to go to 1000 AD.

You come out of a closet in a home of imps. They won't fight you. If you plead with the merchant or innkeeper, you will, however, have to battle. Don't even think about buying the merchants items--- they are SO expensive it is unbelieveable. Go to the mayor's house. The lower floor has a tab on the kitchen counter and another on a desk upstairs. Go west to Melchior's hut. Buy upgrades and mid tonics from him. You will need them. About 20 should do. Go north into the cave. Fight through the enemies until you reach the save point. Prepare for a grueling battle with Heckran. Defeat him to find out about the connection between Lavos and the man named Magus. Jump in the pool behind the chamber to be sent to a spot near Lucca's house. Enter. If Taban isn't near the door, go see Lucca's mom. Wait till Taban comes up and leaves. Go down and talk to him to recieve the Taban Helm. Talk to Taban often for he is making a ton of items for his daughter. Visit Fritz, if you saved him, at the market. He will give you 10 mid-ethers free! Go to the Fair and use the gate to 600 AD.

Head to the bridge and talk to the knight captain. Then, go to the kitchen in Guardia Castle (bottom floor) and talk to the chef. As you leave, he will give you a power tab and a jerky. Take the jerky and give it to the captain. A guard will run up warning everybody that Magus' troops are launching an attack. Talk to the knight captain again and say "I'll help" to recieve a gold helm. Go across the bridge and meet Ozzie. Don't hit him--- instead, use magic on the skeletons. After a few battles, you'll fight Zombor. When you kill him, he will use "M.P. Buster" to drain all of one member's M.P. Recover at an inn and continue south across the bridge. In the house with sparkling locked drawer, look at the drawer and talk to the old man. He'll trade you the secret naga-ette bromide for a tab. Continue south and head into the Denadoro Mountains. Not much to do here, so you'll have to figure out most stuff on your own. When you meet the creature that looks like Spekkio, keep talking to him and he will give you a magic tab. Continue south until you get to the save point. Go southeast and you'll find a speed tab. Find Masa and Mune's cave and challenge them for the Masamune. When you defeat them, you will receive the broken blade. Masa will send you down to the base of the mountain. Go to Tata's house (the furthest south) and get the Hero's Medal from him. Go to the Cursed Woods and behind the furthest north bush you will discover Frog's secret home. He'll see the Hero's Medal, but not join you. He will move away from the western chest. Open it to find the hilt of the Masamune. You'll find Melchior's name on it. Weird... Go visit in Medina Village to find out that you need Dreamstone to repair the sword. Go to the End of Time and take the portal to Mystic Mountain.

You'll be attacked by a group of 5 reptites. They're weak against lightning. After that, 7 reptites will attack you, but a woman will appear and kill 3 of them. You can finish the other 4 easily. This woman is Ayla. She will ask you to go to her village. Follow her to Ioka and enter the chief's hut. After Ayla talks some, the party will begin. To get the Dreamstone, you must beat Ayla in a soup guzzling contest. After you win, you'll wake up and find your gate key missing. Go to Ayla's hut and wake her up. She'll join you. Take Robo along also, for you'll need his Heal Beam. Get the strongest weapons and armor at the trading shop. If you need more items for trade, fight Nu's at the hunting range (when it rains). It is a good idea to fight some anyway, for they give good exp. When you're ready, go south into the forest maze. You'll find Kino, who stole the gate key. You must go through the maze and into the reptites' lair, because the reptites stole the key from Kino. In the Lair, you'll meet Azala and you must fight his champion, Nizbel. Then, Azala will give you back your Gate Key. Leave and return to Melchior.

Melchior will fix and give you the Masamune. Take it to Frog.

Give the Masamune to Frog and he will join you. Take Frog to Spekkio and learn water magic. Now go to the prehistoric hunting range and fight Nu's until Frog learns Water 2 and you learn Delta Storm triple tech. Now go to the Magic Cave in 600 AD and Frog will equip the Masamune and open a secret door. A bat will follow you (actully one of Magus' henchmen). Go through the cave and read the soldier's note by looking at him. Exit the cave and enter the forest. You'll enter Magus' super-cool castle. Go through both corridors and then return to the main hall. Step on the save point, and Ozzie's shadow will appear and taunt you. He will summon two Vamps and four Henchs, so be ready to fight. After the battle, go to the western corridor. This is important: don't touch any monsters and they won't attack you! At the throne, the people will turn into skeletons and attack. Defeat them to fight Slash, master swordsman (yeah, right!). If you defeat him, you receive the Slasher Sword and a save point. Return to the beginning and take the eastern corridor. Talk to the children to fight four Shadows. Fire Whirl will get rid of them. Open the chest and get the treasure. Don't touch any people and go north to the second throne. Attack "Flea???" with Lucca since it will do M.P. Buster and drain all the M.P. of the member that defeats it. The bat will turn into the real Flea and attack attack. This can be a tough battle, so be careful! Defeat Flea for a magic tab. Go back to Slash's throne and use a shelter to recover lost M.P. points. Go step on the "save point" in the main hall and be transported into another part of the fortress. All I can say is this: beware Outlaws and Jugglers! Soon, you will meet up with Ozzie--- remember, his ice shield is indestructable! Then, use the right save point to recover and use the left one to teleport into Magus' lair. Run down the steps to aviod the bats and enter Magus' inner sanctum. Lights will appear and you will fight Magus. When you defeat him, you'll be sucked into an enormous Gate.

You wake up from a dream in Ayla's hut. She'll leave and after the night, Kino comes in as the North Woods start to burn. Go to the Laruba ruins and Ayla will leave after a fight with the elder. Get more upgrades from the trading hut (they have new stuff). Go north into the Dactyls' nest. Fight your way to the peak where you will discover Ayla. She'll join you. Add Robo to your team. You'll need his Heal Beam again. Go to the Tyrano Lair. Go to the basement and rescue the Laruba villagers and Kino. He'll open up the skull on floor one and you'll be able to head up a floor. You'll meet Nizbel II. Then, after a ton of battles, you'll fight Azala and the Black Tyrano. When you defeat them, you'll fly off on dactyls and watch a cool movie scene as Lavos crashes into the Tyrano Lair and burrows deep into the ground. The earth will be plunged into an ice age. A Gate will have formed at the ruins. Head into it to enter the Kingdom of Magic.

You arrive in a cave. The earth is in an ice age. Go east into the Skyway. You be transported to the magical kingdom of Zeal. In Enhasa, find and open the elemental books in this order: Water, Wind, and Fire. A door will open. Go inside and challenge the Nu. 6 will appear and attack. Fight them. Know this: no matter what some people say, these Nu's can and will kill you. After you beat them, you'll receive two tabs. Go north into the Landway and enter it. Go west to another Skyway. You are on the other continent (you can't reach the others yet). Go to Kajar and find the elemental books and open them in the same order as in Enhasa. A secret door will open. Take the poyozo doll and get the Black Rock from inside. Go to the caves head into the Castle. Tell the lady near the spring of recovery to plant the sapling against Queen Zeal's orders. Her soul will reincarnate into Fiona's (you'll meet her later on). Scratch the Nu's back (important). Go to the bedrooms and follow Schala into the middle hall where she'll open a door with her pendant. Try and fail. Go to the left wing and charge up Marle's pendant with the Mammon Machine. Now change you party so you have Lucca, Crono, and Robo. Make sure they all have fire protection, like ruby vests. Head into the door and you'll fight the Golem. No matter what the outcome of the battle is, the queen will capture and imprison you. Schala will release you but the prophet will catch you again. You are sent through the Gate you came from and it will be sealed by Schala.

Go to the Future and open up the sealed doors in the Bangor Dome, the Trann Dome, and the basement of the Arris Dome. Collect the treasures and pick up the tabs from the floor. Now go to the Keeper's Dome through the Sewer Access and open the door there. You have to fight Sir Krawlie, but he is SO easy I don't even count him as a boss. Then, you find that Belthasar has passed away and has left messages in a Nu. Go through the door and look at the top of the Wings of Time. Try to leave and Belthasar's robot will come with the seats to it and you'll name it. Don't use the Epoch--- yet. Leave and pick up the magic tab. Then, return and fly the Epoche to the End of Time. Visit all the sealed chests in 600 AD, say "No" when asked if you want them, and take them in 1000 AD and then open them in 600 AD. You'll get the item powered up in 1000 AD and twice. Don't forget the chests in the Magic cave and Heckran's Cave. And go to the Blue pyramid north of Medina. You can get a swallow sword or a safe helm. The swallow sword increases your speed while the safe helm reduces physical damage by 1/3. Now go back to 12,000 BC.

Go north until you reach the Terra cave. Buy new equipment but don't sell your ruby vests. Save and head into the beast's nest. Kill "beasts" with magic and when you meet the Mud Imp and his Blue and Red beasts, kick their butts. Then, go up the chain to Mt. Woe. Attack the Rubbles with someone with high strike points (like Ayla) to get 1000 exp. points each. This is a great way to build up levels. You'll need high levels for the coming boss. Forty is nice. Have Ayla, Crono, and Robo on your team. Go through the mountains and save at the second save point. You'll fight Giga Gaia. After the battle, you'll learn that The Guru of Life is Melchior, and you'll return to the Terra cave. Schala will come but will be captured by Dalton, a real idiot in my book. Talk to Melchior to get the ruby knife. Go to the skyway in the east and go to Kajar. Talk to the shop keeper and answer "No" to his question--- now he'll sell you new stuff! Don't sell your ruby vests yet--- they'll still come in handy. Go to the laboratory and scratch the Nu's back for a magic tab. Now go to the Castle and head to the throne room. Fight Dalton. Then, (of course) he will flee. Go recover and change your party to Crono, Lucca, and Frog or Marle. Go to the gate Dalton used and be transported to the Sea Palace. Talk to Mune and continue in. When fighting scouts, use lightning. On red scouts, use fire, and on blue scouts, use water. Don't attack the scouts with other magic or they'll counterattack. Against the twins, attack Jinn's brother first but don't attack when they're near each other or they'll counterattack. After Jinn's brother is dead, one hit to Jinn will make his shield dissappear so you can kill him. Go to the northeast and northwest rooms and step on the switches. Go south and step on the switch in that room. To get the Demon Hit for Frog, go to the western wall of the southern room. Walk south along this wall, then east, and you will find a secret passage in the southern wall. When your ready, go to the door you couldn't go to before and go through to the elevator. After the elevator, go to the east and west rooms and flick the switches. Then step on the middle switch and go in. Equip ruby vests and change your party to Crono, Robo, and Lucca. You'll fight the Golem Twins. Then, go to the Mammon machine and launch the ruby knife at it. The knife will turn into the Masamune and you'll fight Lavos. You'll be annihilated. The prophet, who is really Magus, will challenge but lose Lavos. Crono will attack Lavos and will be turned to dust. Schala will warp you to safety. Lavos will destroy Zeal and wipe out most of the land. You'll end up in the Last village. Put Robo in the lead and change to whomever you like. Go to the Commons and be taken by Dalton. You'll end up in a prison cell with no equipment, money or items. Go up the ladder to find yourself on the Blackbird, high up in the air. You'll find a air duct. Go to the east, then north. Look in the grates until you find a sleeping guard by a treasure chest. Open it to find Robo's stuff. Go around and get your items, money, and other people's equipment. Go onto the wing and fight the cannons (only if you have Ayla or someone with high strike points). They give out 1500 exp. points each. Put Marle in your party and equip everyone with ruby vests. Go to the end of the wing and fight the GolemBoss. Then, you'll fight Dalton Plus. After that, he will call on GolemBoss but will be sucked into the void. You'll destroy the Blackbird and land. Go to the Commons and talk to to everyone. Go to North Cape and examine the sparkling object. Magus will appear and you'll see his past. He is Janus. Don't fight him! He will then join you. Magus kicks major butt! Go to the Epoch and fly. The Black Omen will rise.

If you wish, you can now go to Laruba Ruins (in 65,000,000 BC), to get the Silver Rock from a Nu. Go to the End of Time and talk to the old man. He is Gaspar, Guru of Time, and he'll give you the Chrono Trigger. Go to the Keeper's Dome and talk to the robot. Go to Crono's house and get the clone. If you didn't get the clone at the fair, you cannot get Crono back. Take the clone to the robot and he'll activate three robots to help you climb Death Peak. Turn the robot off and head to the mountain. Take with you three very strong characters, like Robo, Ayla, and Frog. Talk to the first robot. It'll turn into a tree. Hide behind the tree to keep from being blown of the mountain. You'll encounter three Lavos Spawns. After defeating the last Spawn, push the shell the under the ladder and climb up. Then get Crono from the summit.

The desert in 600 AD should have a whirl pool in the middle of it. If not, go to 12,000 AD and tell the lady with the plant to plant it in the Commons. Go down into the maze. Go to the bottom floor. You need Crono, Marle, and Ayla. Catch the Retinite and fight it. Then, the forest should stop deteriorating. Pick up a power tab near the exit. Go to Fiona and leave Robo. Go to 1000 AD and get Robo from the shrine. Buy the powerful vigil hats for everyone. They will be a reunion and everyone will sleep in the woods. Lucca will wake up and find a gate. Go into it and you'll be in Lucca's house. DO NOT GO SOUTH! Go downstairs. Go into the kitchen and read the note. It says the password is Lucca's mom's name (Lara). Go into the main room and you'll see how Lucca's mom lost the ability to walk, but you can keep it from happening. When she gets stuck face the sparkling object. It will say to enter the password. Type in "L","A","R","A" to stop the machine. Go back into the portal and talk to Robo who will give you a green dream.

Go to the future and go into the sun palace. Wear red vests/mails and ruby armors from the Ioka trader and get the silver rock from the Nu in the Laruba ruins. Fight the Son of Sun. When you defeat him, you'll get the moon stone. Take the moon stone to prehistoric time and leave it at Sun Keep. Go to the future and find the stone missing. Go to 1000 AD and go to the Snail shop in Porre. Buy the Jerky and go to 600 AD and give it to the woman for free. Go to 1000 AD and get the moon stone from the mayor. Take it to the Sun Keep and leave it there. Go to the future and have Lucca look at the sun stone. She'll make the WonderShot gun for herself and Taban will give you Sun Shades.

Go to 600 AD and talk to Toma in the Choras cafe. You'll get Toma's Pop. Go to 1000 AD to the northwestern corner of the island. Go up to the grave and use the pop. Toma will appear and he'll tell you where the Rainbow Shell is. Go behind his grave for a speed tab. Go to the Giant's Claw. Get the Blue Rock inside (in a chest) and fight the Rust Tyrano. Then, get the Rainbow shell. Go to Guardia castle and ask the King to keep it for 400 years. Go to 1000 AD. Have Marle in your party. You'll find the king on trial. Go talk to him in the court room. He'll explain he's being framed. Go to the new wing in the east part of the castle. Learn of the chancellor's plans. Go forward and fight. You get a piece of the shell. Take it to the court room. Marle will burst through the stained glass window and prove her father is innocent. The chancellor will change into Yakra XIII and attack you. Defeat him and Marle will apologize to her father. Go to the court room again and get the key from the floor. Open the locked chest to find the real chancellor. Go to the basement and Melchior will make you new weapons and armor. You can get a Rainbow Sword, a Prism Specs, and you have a choice between a Prism Dress or three Prism Helms. The Prism Dress reduces magic damage by 1/3. The Prism Helms lock your status and ups Mdef.

Go to the middle ages and talk to the patrons at Choras cafe. Return to the present and talk to the patrons at the inn/cafe. One man will offer you tools. Go to his house which is southwest of the cafe and get the tools from his wife. Go back to the middle ages and give the tools to the man in the cafe. Go to the Northern Ruins and defeat ALL the monsters in the basement. Go to the carpenter's house and have him fix the northern ruins. Take Frog to the basement and have him put Cyrus' soul to peace and you will get the Masamune II. Clear the upstairs of monsters and pay the carpenter 2000 gp to have him go there again. Say "No" when asked if you wish to open the sealed chests in 600 AD. Go to 1000 AD and collect the treasures in the ruins: the Siren, Kali Blade and Nova Armor will be powered up, becoming the Valkerye, Shiva Edge, and Moon Armor! Once you have all the items in 1000 AD, collect them again in the past. Go to the Denadoro Mountains and have Frog lead your party. When a Free Lancer throws rocks at you stand next to the treasure chest. Frog will catch a rock and it will turn into the Gold Rock.

Have shadow and Magus in your party before entering Ozzie's hidout. Once inside, fight Flea, then Slash. In the room with the treasure and Ozzie, ignore the item and head towards the door. An imp will enter and disarm the trap, allowing you to get the goods. There is also a secret room here: go to the right wall and then walk down to enter a secret room with a Doom Sickle, Gloom Helm, Gloom Cape for Magus, and 1 MagicTab for whoever! You must now fight Super Slash, then Flea Plus and then Slash, Flea, and Ozzie together, which is harder than it sounds. Use Ayla's Charm spell on the trio to get a Flea Vest, an Ozzie Pants (cursed) and a Slasher II. Then, Ozzie will retreat upstairs. Follow and attack Great Ozzie. You'll fall down a pit after beating him, so just climb back up. A cat will press the a switch and Ozzie will fall to his death (pretty cheesy, huh!). If you go to Medina, the Imps run the town and they are friendly.

Head to the future, with Robo leading your team. Find a factory on and island and enter. Fight the robots on the conveyor belt--- they are great exp. This is a great place to gain levels, so if you wish to fight more battles, go to the east and jump down the dust chute. You get roughly 8,000 exp. every time around. Collect the dolls and go upstairs. Robo will meet Atropos XR, his "girlfriend". Robo must fight her alone. Defeat her so she remembers and she will give Robo a ribbon that gives him +3 speed, +10 magic defense. She then dies (sob!). Put the two dolls on each side of the big metal door. Fight Mother Brain and her displays. After defeating her, the factory will close down permanently. You get the Terra Arm and the Crisis Arm as a reward.

The person is Queen Zeal, Magus's mother. You must go through the Black Omen. Throughout this "palace" you'll have to beat lots of guys, so wear GoldStuds and nail your enemies with magic attacks such as Flare, Luminaire, Shock and Dark Matter. When you have to beat Ruminators, use Ayla's Charm spell on them to get MegaElixirs, and then finish them with Flare. The first bosses to beat here are three mutants, the Mega Mutant, the Giga Mutant, and the Terra Mutant. When you beat the top section, the bottom one dies. After these mutants, you'll have to destroy the last of the Lavos Spawns, the most powerful one. Attack the head only. After this battle, you can get the White Rock from a chest. Then, you must fight Zeal. This boss only weakens you, but doesn't kill you. You'll then fight the Mammon Machine. Finally, you will fight Zeal again, but now she'll have another form. When she loses, Lavos will attack. Before you fight it, you can change your party. Chose carefully, for this battle may very well decide the fate of all mankind...
